Best known for playing fan-favorite ‘Tyreese’ in the wildly popular, Golden Globe-nominated AMC series “The Walking Dead,” “Dennis ‘Cutty’ Wise” in Emmy® award-nominated HBO drama series “The Wire,” and his memorable recurring role as ‘Z’ from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” critically-acclaimed television, film and stage actor Chad L. Coleman currently stars as ‘Klyden’ in Seth MacFarlane’s hour-long hit comedy “The Orville.”

Coleman’s next big project is his very own podcast titled HUMBLE HOLLYWOOD Podcast w/ Chad. Humble Hollywood is a cross between podcasts “Stuff You Should Know” and “People Everyday,” with a Chad L. Coleman ‘raise the roof’ spin and high energy for life excitement! Mix that with his co-host Elizabeth Morales (actress and producer, #TheHashtaggedShow), a New York, Jersey-Cuban girl and things get hot!

Chad and Elizabeth will also be joined by Eden Sharon, a young international Israeli actress that will bring her own fresh young take and viewpoint on topics of the day! On behalf of the launch of his podcast, Chad is now gearing up for a LIVE podcast show in Las Vegas with some of his close friends in the industry! Tickets going on sale soon! Celebrity guests on his podcast will include Seth McFarlane (“Family Guy”), Anthony Mackie (Black Panther), Charlie Day (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”), Domenick Lombardozzi (“The Wire”), Phil Collen (Def Leppard), Michael Cudlitz (“The Walking Dead”), Baron DDavis (NBA All-Star), Scott Gimple (“The Walking Dead” writer/producer), and many more!

Nothing has slowed down for Coleman since departing “The Walking Dead.” Coleman’s recent projects include the Lifetime biopic MICHAEL JACKSON: SEARCHING FOR NEVERLAND based on the book Remember the Time by Michael Jackson’s trusted bodyguards, Bill Whitfield (Chad L. Coleman) and Javon Beard (Sam Adegoke).

The film provides an exclusive look at Michael Jackson’s final days and helps answer the question that fans around the world want: What really happened to the King of Pop? Chad also has a recurring role on Syfy’s space drama “The Expanse,” and has recently starred in “Arrow,” “Freakish,” and ROOTS (History’s remake of the 1977 miniseries). Coleman is also widely recognized for his roles on “I Hate My Teenage Daughter,” “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” “The Good Wife,” and films THE GREEN HORNET and HORRIBLE BOSSES, to name a few.

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Coleman spent 4 years serving in the Army as a video cameraman stationed at the Pentagon in DC. After gaining much experience, Coleman made his way to New York where he starred in a number of Broadway projects including the critically acclaimed revival of August Wilson’s play Joe Turner’s Come and Gone on Broadway alongside Meryl Streep. Growing up in the foster care system, Coleman devotes time to working with children in similar circumstances and underprivileged communities.

As a proud father, he is also the national celebrity spokesperson for “Date with Dad,” an annual event aimed at fostering the all-important father-daughter relationship, hosted by Camp Diva, a Richmond-based program of Girls For A Change, a non-profit providing opportunities for teen girls to prepare themselves for their passage into womanhood.
