Willa Dorsey Taylor passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 99.
She is survived by her daughter, former Metro Council Member and State Representative Edith Taylor Langster, son Wallace (Sandra) H. Taylor, Jr., five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Family and friends held a public viewing on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Lewis and Wright Funeral Home, 2500 Clarksville Pike, Nashville, TN 37208.
Visitation was Tuesday, February 20 at Clark Memorial United Methodist Church, Nashville, TN 37208 with Celebration of Life Services following visitation.
