Tennessee artist Meg Pollard is painting the town and not just red. Pollard’s creativity is on full display at WeGo Central. She describes herself as a freeform visual artist, utilizing acrylic paint and digital formats. Her artwork entitled “Swirls” was featured inside a Wego bus in 2019.
“The “Swirls” artwork were cathartic for me to create; they just come out,” stated Pollard. “I’m not trying to make a swirl flow in any certain direction because it already knows where it’s supposed to go. I used to see them all the time as a child when I’d close my eyes while my mom washed my hair. I didn’t know what they were until I was drawing them one day and realized where I had seen them before.”
