NASHVILLE, TN — In response to newly released data showing that three Nashvillians die by suicide every week, Mayor David Briley has announced a partnership with the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network (TSPN) to offer training for all Metro employees in an effort to help identify and provide assistance to persons in crisis. Metro gave land to the Metropolitan Development Housing Agency (MDHA) next to the old Knowles Assisted Living Center. MDHA used $4 million in federal disaster relief funds to finance the project.
