NASHVILLE, TN — Music is in the name, but musical innovation is a key part of the game.
That once again remains evident in the plan for a 55-acre campus called Rock Nashville, comprising three buildings and more than 514,000 of space serving live entertainment production, with an expected opening in the second half of 2025. And that innovation is taking place in a different part of Nashville.
Rock Nashville will feature 15 studio rehearsal spaces, a theater, an amphitheater, an arena and stadium scales — including a facility up to 95 feet tall — to replicate large venues for effective stadium-size rehearsals. The project’s sound stages, creative offices and production facilities welcome artists and performers to create, build and rehearse their shows.
A joint venture between Cincinnati-based development company Al. Neyer and entertainment venue Rock Lititz — which offers a similar campus in Pennsylvania — will bring the project to life. Rock Lititz has already attracted Nashville artists for several years, facilitating the decision to bring the concept to Music City’s Whites Creek neighborhood in North Nashville.
Less than 15 miles north of downtown, Whites Creek represents yet another highly appealing community for business growth and expansion. Its selection for this innovative venue highlights the continued appeal of neighborhoods around the immediate downtown area.
“We’ve been dreaming about Nashville for a long time. The Nashville market has really evolved from country music to a global music destination,” Rock Lititz campus general manager Andrea Shirk said. “There was an obvious demand from the industry. We met the Neyer team, and it became evident that they had a vision of developing this from an industrial real estate perspective, and we had the vision from an industry perspective.”
The Nashville Stars are excited to embrace this new development as more musicians can refine their talents right here in our great city.
