Tennessee Democratic Party’s Historic Organizing Hub Trains More Than 350 Organizers Across Tennessee

NASHVILLE — On the heels of historic Democratic victories across Tennessee in the August election, the Tennessee Democratic Party today announced the completion of its 2026 TNDP Organizing Hub, a first-of-its-kind, statewide summer training curriculum. The Organizing Hub is part of a new era for the Tennessee Democratic Party, building on their work to strengthen local Democratic infrastructure in all 95 counties, recruit candidates across the state, and establish a year-round organizing operation capable of competing and winning in every community.

This summer, more than 350 Tennesseans participated in training focused on the fundamentals of grassroots organizing, direct voter contact, volunteer recruitment, messaging, and much more. Participants are now taking those skills into critical Democratic campaigns and communities across Tennessee.

The following is a statement from Luis Mata, Communications & Deputy Executive Director of the Tennessee Democratic Party:

“Tennesseans deserve better than the 15-year complete Republican control of our state that has been defined by rising costs, chaos, and corruption for far too long. The August election demonstrated what is possible when Democrats strategically invest in local organizing. We flipped seats, broke Republican supermajorities, and expanded our presence in communities across the state. That didn’t happen by accident. It was the result of Democrats organizing and showing up in communities across Tennessee, not leaving a single community behind. Now, more than 350 new organizers are trained, organized, and equipped with the tools ready to win in November. We are building a generation of leaders with the resolve and boldness of vision to organize their communities, bring people together, and elect Democrats up and down the ballot.”
