NASHVILLE, TN — The Titans’s primary nonconference foes this coming season will be NFC South teams, including the New Orleans Saints in the opener.

They will play the Saints and Buccaneers on the road, while the Falcons and Panthers come to Nashville.

The Titans have AFC  home games in October against the Bengals and Ravens, while they face the Browns on the road at the end of September and the Steelers to begin November.

Other non-divisional AFC games are the home opener against the Chargers the second week of September and on the road against the Dolphins in December. There is also another NFC contest, a Christmas Eve home game against Seattle.

The six AFC South games include back to back against Houston on New Year’s Eve on the road and the home finale January 7 against Jacksonville. Their first divisional game is in October on the road against the Colts.

This year’s schedule spaces out the divisional games so that the Titans  won’t have  consecutive AFC South opponents until the final two weeks.

The Titans hope to both snap their seven-game losing  streak early, and find their way back to the playoffs.
