Forgot life’s woes in this charming haven of luxury. The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa make guests feel like royalty with gracious hospitality and turn of the century class. Assiduous staff dressed in period attire completes the Victorian experience. The Grand Lobby is adorned with fine detail such as a Mary Poppins bronze fountain featuring playful penguins and two five-tier custom grand chandeliers. It is a magical place where historical charm meets modern convenience.
The Seven Seas Lagoon surrounds the Grand Floridian, setting the stage for the perfect backdrop. Guestrooms are plush, offering fine woodwork, comfortable bedding and marble top sinks. Special touches can be found in each room such as a toss pillow and kleenex embossed with “GF.” Fine chocolates are placed on pillows after the evening turndown service. Each wrapper has a colorful illustration of the resort.

As decisions must be made on how to spend time while at Walt Disney World, consider the activities on property. From shopping to water recreation to unique dining, plan an enjoyable GF experience. A must stop for shopping is at Basin on the second floor. Find luxurious bath and body products including a remarkable assortment of salt scrubs.

Speaking of the second floor, this is where the renowned monorail station is, perhaps one of the greatest assets of the GF. Guests can climb aboard and head to Epcot or Magic Kingdom right from the resort, making travel so easy. Buses are also available for all parks and Downtown Disney.
Dining opportunities at Disney’s Grand Floridian are diverse — from flatbreads, pizzas and grill entrees at Gasparilla Grill and Games to intimate, candlelight, gourmet dinners at Victoria & Albert’s, with elegant service fit for royalty. The AAA Five Diamond award-winning Victoria & Albert’s serves up fine service and exceptional dining. The largest restaurant is Cítricos featuring the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast and Cinderella’s Happily Ever After Dinner. 1900 Park Fare hosts character dining at breakfast and dinner. Grand Floridian Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. My Disney Girl’s Perfectly Princess Tea Party is offered daily in Garden View Lounge.
All major dining locations are in the main building except Narcoossee’s, a seafood restaurant on a romantic shoreline location.

Recreation will be enjoyed by all ages. Young visitors will be entertained by the Pirate Adventure Cruise, Movies Under the Stars and Wonderland Tea Party. The resort offers motorized pontoon boat rentals, bass fishing with a guided excursion and poolside relaxation and fun, including a waterfall flowing from a 27-foot-tall stone mountain. For a true VIP experience, set sail on the Grand 1 Yacht with a private butler service and on-board gourmet dining.Take time for renewal and rest at Senses – A Disney Spa at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, a full-service spa and health club pampers guests with a variety of personalized treatments including massage therapy, body treatments, facials, manicures and pedicures. Men’s and women’s sauna, steam room, whirlpool and a workout room round out the amenities.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the perfect sanctuary after a day at Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. The magic stays alive long after leaving Disney, with heartwarming memories leaving an imprint on guests of all ages. For more information, visit www. disneyworld.disney.go.com.
