NASHVILLE, TN– Cyntoia Brown was released from the Tennessee Prison for Women Wednesday after serving 15 years of a life sentence for the 2004 shooting death of Nashville realtor Johnny Allen. Court documents state Brown was 16 at the time and living with boyfriend Gary McGlothen, nicknamed “Cut Throat,” who she said often abused her physically and sexually.
