Gilmore and the Office of the Metropolitan Trustee are taking proactive steps to help residents of Nashville and Davidson County take advantage of the higher Property Tax Freeze program. Starting July 2024, the qualifying income limit for the Property Tax Freeze program will increase from $47,750 to $ 60,000, allowing more residents ages 65 and older to freeze their property tax payment amounts. NASHVILLE, TN — One of the city’s groundbreaking figures in Nashville history, Edith Taylor Langster, passed away June 30. She was 75.
