One of six children, our mom told us that for some time her younger sister Aunt Rosie thought my mother was her mother because of the time mom spent raising Aunt Rosie. During the Great Depression jobs were hard to find so grandparents relocated the family to Cynthia, Kentucky and lived in a house on the farm owned by our great-uncle.
