NEW YORK, NY — R&B group JODECI is hitting the road for a U.S. tour celebrating the 35th anniversary of its #1 debut album, Forever My Lady.
The 35-city tour will kick off Saturday, October 24 in San Francisco and includes two Tennessee stops: Memphis on Nov. 24 at the Orpheum Theatre and Nashville on Dec. 10 at The Truth. The tour will also visit Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, New Orleans and other cities before closing with a hometown concert in Charlotte, NC on Saturday, December 19.
In honor of the anniversary, Forever My Lady was re-released in an expanded vinyl version distributed through UMG on July 17. The album features bonus tracks and a never before heard a capella version of “Stay.”
JODECI has sold more than 20 million albums and recorded five #1 singles and three #1 albums. The group has also received honors including Soul Train Awards and Billboard Music Awards.

Released in 1991, Forever My Lady reached #1 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums chart in its first week of release. The album included “Forever My Lady,” which reached #1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles and Tracks chart, as well as “Come & Talk To Me” and “Stay,” which also reached #1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
JODECI followed the album with Diary Of A Mad Band in 1993, which reached #1 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums chart and included the #1 single “Cry For You.” The group’s third album, The Show, The After Party, The Hotel, released in 1995, became its third #1 album on the Billboard Top R&B Albums chart and included “Freek’n You” and “Love U 4 Life.”
