The Trial Court Vacancy Commission is accepting applications for a Circuit Court Judge in the 12th Judicial District.
An applicant for the vacancy must be:
- An attorney licensed in Tennessee.
- At least 30 years old.
- A resident of the state for at least five years.
- A resident of the Judicial District for at least one year.
The deadline for applying for this position is Monday, September 21, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. CDT.
Applications received by the Administrative Office of the Courts after that time will not be considered.
After the application period closes, a list of applicants scheduled for hearing will be posted to the Administrative Office of the Courts website at https://www.tncourts.gov/media.

The public hearing for this position will be held Monday, Oct. 19, 2026, at 9 a.m. local time, in the 12th Judicial District, inside the Franklin County Judicial Center located at 440 George Fraley Parkway, Winchester, Tenn. 37398.
