NASHVILLE, Tenn., (TN Tribune)— TriStar Skyline Medical Center received an “A” Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade for fall 2021. This national distinction recognizes TriStar Skyline’s achievements in protecting patients from errors, injuries, accidents, and infections.

“Our colleagues at TriStar Skyline put the safety of every individual patient at the forefront of all that they do,” stated Dustin Greene, CEO, TriStar Skyline Medical Center. “I am incredibly proud of TriStar Skyline’s continued dedication to patient safety and clinical excellence that allows our patients to receive high-quality care in the safest of environments.”

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is the only hospital ratings program based exclusively on hospital prevention of medical errors and harms to patients. The grading system is peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public.

“An ‘A’ Safety Grade is a tremendous achievement, of which this community should be extremely proud,” said Leah Binder, president and CEO of The Leapfrog Group. “I thank the leadership and workforce of TriStar Skyline for their commitment to prioritizing patients and their safety, especially during these trying times.”
