The new 2017 Honda Pilot AWD Elite offers SUV stylings and space without skimping on comfort, space or key features. The exterior design of the Pilot is both sporty and refined. It shows off how Honda is redefining the modern family SUV. According to our test driver, the Pilot drives with the ease of a car more than a traditional SUV.
The Pilot can seat up to 8 passengers, quite comfortably but still doesn’t skimp on the features, such as leather-trimmed seating from front to back seats. There’s still plenty of rear room space for passengers and their stuff. This SUV features 109 cu-ft of cargo room when the 60/40 split second and third-row seats are folded down and are heated, offering more than enough space for both passengers and their all-important stuff, without cramping anyone’s style or space.
Both the driver and passengers can ride in comfort at whatever temperature is comfortable, individually speaking. And that’s due to the Pilot’s Tri-Zone Automatic Climate Control.
The Pilot’s exterior is designed with a ruggedly aggressive grille and features a three-bar chrome layout that blends beautifully with the headlights design. Back-up Sensors are your new best friend when it’s time to take it into reverse. These sensors help drivers detect nearby objects whether parallel parking into tight spaces or simply backing out of the driveway.
For 2017 the Pilot has the addition of Apple Car Play and Android Auto. There’s no shortage of power when it comes to the techie drivers and their friends. Other cool features include AM/FM/CD/HD Premium Audio system with 10 speakers; five USB ports for phones, tablets, and other mobile fun items. There are also two auxiliary jacks for headphones; up to three 12-volt outlets; a Blu-Ray/DVD Rear Entertainment System with a 9-inch display and wireless headsets and HDMI interface.
