Federal agents searched the New York homes of people tied to Project Veritas, according to founder James O’Keefe on Friday. In a video posted to Project Veritas’ YouTube, O’Keefe said his organization obtained a grand jury subpoena before saying that current and former Project Veritas employees’ homes were searched by federal agents. “Apartment and homes of Project Veritas journalists and former journalists had been raided by FBI agents,” he said, adding that it appears the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York is targeting the group. Florida A&M University Developmental Research School (FAMU DRS) is experiencing record enrollment for the first time in over a decade, according to school administrators. This year, FAMU DRS surpassed its enrollment projections and currently, the interest level exceeds capacity. “We’ve had to employ a waitlist for the first time in my memory as an administrator at DRS,” said Zellee Barnes, assistant principal for secondary schools. “It’s a great problem to have.” There are currently 273 students enrolled in FAMU DRS’ elementary school, 354 students enrolled in the secondary schools, and although school officially began Tuesday, August 10, more students are…

Fisk University and Galen College of Nursing have inked an agreement that will allow Fisk degree credits to transfer to Galen, according to a news release, creating a direct pathway for Fisk students to enter Galen’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. NASHVILLE, TN (TSU News Service) — Amazon is investing $800,000 to endow a professor at Tennessee State University and equip computer science students with the skills they need to one day work for the company or elsewhere in the technology space. The idea originated in 2018 as a part of announcing Amazon Nashville, which is expected to ultimately create 5,000 jobs in Nashville.
