NASHVILLE, TN — In a celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy, the 31st annual Let Freedom Sing concert at Schermerhorn Symphony Center promises an inspirational evening on Sunday, January 14.

The event kicks off at 7:30 pm with pre-sale ticket reservations available for 2023/2024 for season subscribers, groups of 12+, and donors of $500 or more.

Led by conductor Dr. Jeffery L. Ames, the Nashville Symphony, along with tenor Rodrick Dixon and spoken word artist Wisdom Wright, will deliver a moving performance. The Celebration Chorus, under the guidance of chorus master Odessa Settles, and the Celebration Youth Chorus, co-directed by Margaret Campbelle-Holman and Dr. Nita Smith, will join forces for a diverse selection of classical works, songs, Traditionals, and more.

This free community concert, titled “Let Freedom Sing,” utilizes a Choose What You Pay model, making it accessible to all. However, there are ticket limits of 4 per order and 12 per group organization. Seat reservations are guaranteed until 15 minutes before the event.
