“Driving the 2019 BMW M5 Competition Sedan is like driving a Jet on wheels,” and that was my first thought the first time I touched the wheel of this exceptional vehicle. It’s both a privilege and a pleasure to experience the M5, whether you’re a driver or a passenger. There’s distinctive “M Competition” graphic that appears in the instrument cluster to greet the driver when the M5 starts up. Its light-alloy wheels, that are 20” with Double-spokes, were developed specifically for the new Competition Sedan, which helps give the M5 that specialty look. “The M5 brings plenty of unexpected attention. While cruising around during test drives, several drivers quickly gave me the ‘thumbs up’ approval, while pointing to the car. These fellow drivers know style and class in a vehicle when they see it!”

Other state-of-the-art design features of the Competition include high-gloss black finishers on the door handles, mirror bases and mirror triangles, High-gloss Shadow Line trim is featured on the door window, and a moonroof with more than just a mere view.

Moving inside the new 2019 BMW M5 Competition, black seat belts with a striped pattern in BMW M GmbH colors and floor mats with model-specific piping plus an “M5” logo provide the finishing touches. A distinctive “M Competition” graphic appears in the instrument cluster to greet the driver each time the vehicle is starting up.

The M5 Competition comes with a model-specific M Sport exhaust system.  This version of the flap-controlled, twin-pipe exhaust system produces an extremely distinctive sound with a sportier tone – especially when the engine is pushed hard and at high revs. The various engine modes, which can be selected at the push of a button, include changes to the sound emitted by the exhaust system. All we can say about this feature is zoom-zoom!

There’s plenty of luxury, beauty and fun both inside and out with the new M5 but it’s also received exceptionally high ratings when it comes to safety, with over 30 listed Top of the line Safety Features, not to mention a 5 Star CONSUMER RATING.  Sure, the MSRP may be a little pricey, but it’s worth it because this vehicle is a true investment for the car lover in all of us.

THE NUMBERS:  MSRP: From $110,000 – MPG: 15 (City)  21(Hwy)
