For the last five decades, Toyota trucks are known for their legendary toughness. And for the new 2020 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD  Off Road,  the rough and tough ruggedness continues, along with state-of-the-art technology. Some of the many new tech includes panoramic view monitor (PVM), Multi-terrain Monitor (MTM) and the smart compatibility of Apple CarPlay,®8 Android Auto™ and Amazon Alexa.

Thanks to the team at Toyota Racing Development (TRD), the Tacoma TRD Off-Road features a locking differential, a TRD-tuned suspension, Bilstein®55 shocks and unique Goodyear®67 Wrangler®68 tires — all of which help smooth out the rough stuff when the trails get wild.

The TRD’s strong profile features chiseled lines, muscular fenders and a purposeful off-road stance.  Out back, a tailgate is embossed with the Tacoma logo finishes off this truck’s athletic look. Dark bezel taillights give TRD Off-Road  a bold touch.

BILSTEIN®  SHOCKS help soak up the impacts of the trail, thanks to high performance components and valving tuned specifically for off-road driving.

When the trail gets challenging, Tacoma TRD Off-Road’s Crawl Control (CRAWL) feature is here to help you conquer your off-road adventure. This advanced system automatically modulates the throttle and brakes on five low-speed settings to help keep focus while navigating on difficult terrain.

Tacoma TRD Off-Road’s standard electronically controlled locking rear differential distributes engine power evenly to both rear wheels so they move at the same ) Tacoma TRD Off-Road speed, providing more grip in low-traction conditions.

The  Multi-Terrain Select (MTS) has five modes to choose from, this system helps regulate wheelspin by automatically adjusting the engine throttle and traction control.

The interior features unique leather-trimmed seats with the TRD Pro logo embroidered on the headrests, TRD Pro floor mats and a leather-wrapped shifter with a TRD shift knob. With its red contrast stitching, embossed TRD logo and bright chrome accent ring, taking control never looked — or felt — so good.

Tacoma’s standard composite bed surface is built to withstand the bumps, impacts and scuffs of your rough-and-tumble adventure. Its integrated heavy-duty deck rail system offers lots of adjustment, making it easy to tie down gear of all sizes.  Tacoma’s bed comes standard with an innovative deck rail system. With four heavy-duty adjustable tie-down cleats, Tacoma’s got the strength and adjustability you need to keep your cargo securely strapped down…

Tacoma is tough on the outside, but comfortable on the inside. The clean dash layout features intuitive controls, with soft-touch materials throughout. There’s also leather-trimmed seating surfaces and dual zone automatic climate control. And with room for up to five, Tacoma makes it easy to bring the whole crew along for the ride.

The standard backup camera mounted in Tacoma’s tailgate handle helps you see an image of what the camera detects behind you on the 8.0-in. high-resolution display.
