Andrew “Drew” Alexander, son of former U.S. Senator and Tennessee Governor Lamar Alexander and Leslee “Honey” Alexander, died Friday after a short illness. He was 52. Drew Alexander was born in Washington, D.C. in 1969 and moved at age 1 with his family to Nashville, where his father practiced law and established a career in state and national politics.
