If you’d like to purchase a stylish, sensible but cost-effective hybrid, consider the 2021 Sonata Hybrid. It’s coupe-like design and sensuous lines signal a much-needed welcome away from the typical boring hybrid.

This Sonata Hybrid’s got more than an efficient fuel mileage, and an available solar roof that can actually help recharge its batteries!  This is done by converting sunlight into electricity, solar roof panel recharges the batteries generating enough electric power to increase driving range by nearly 2 miles a day. That’s about 700 additional miles per year. To further speak of batteries, there’s a battery warranty that goes the distance. It’s a high-capacity lithium-ion polymer battery system that’s guaranteed for 10 years/100,000 miles. The advanced design of the powertrain gives it an EPA-estimated 52 MPG combined. A sleeker exterior, with active airflap and rear spoiler to improve aerodynamics.

At lower speeds, the vehicle uses more electric power and less gas. Regenerative braking allows the brakes to convert energy into electric power, which helps to recharge the battery.

The interior offers modern comfort for today’s ultra-sophisticated hybrids. There are clean lines and a modern interior now with even more space to spread out than before. Sonata Hybrid’s feature more front head room and leg room than all of its competitors, in fact, it’s the best in its class. This Sonata Hybrid is also big on connectivity, with many innovations and conveniences built around smartphones. So, drivers stay informed, in touch and moving forward.

There’s hidden LED lighting within the chrome trim. You can set the mood with the ambient lighting that flows along the center console and the door trim in both the first and second rows. Explore even deeper inside the interior to find a heated steering wheel and front seats; leather seating surfaces and an 8-way power seat with 2-way lumbar support, along with a fully digital instrument cluster that can be reconfigured for different modes and preferences.

The Integrated Memory System is more than helpful. One of the things it does is to remembers and automatically adjusts your preferred settings for the driver seat and mirrors.

Driver and passenger safety is always at the top of the list. When the driver uses the Smart Cruise Control or Lane Following Assist, this technology automatically helps keep you centered in your lane and traveling at a safe distance from the car ahead. It also keeps you driving at the right speed, setting your pace based on GPS and highway data. The Surround View Monitor combines camera feeds to give the driver a 360-degree bird’s-eye view around the vehicle. And there’s REAR OCCUPANT ALERT. When the engine is turned off, a visual warning in the instrument cluster reminds the driver to check the rear seats before exiting.

    THE NUMBERS: MSRP/about $36,464  – MPG: 45/City  51/Hwy
