To begin with, The QX60 was named “Best Premium SUV” at the 2021 Newsweek Autos Awards. And it only gets better from this point.

This SUV is a visual winner that’s loaded with upgrades. There’s more than generous standard equipment to complement its serene interior and sleek exterior. Even though the interior is full of technology, it still offers a level of serenity.

Another significant upgrade is the new powertrain, which consists of INFINITI’s award-winning 295-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission that promises to pull over 20% (1,000+ lbs) more than its predecessors. This massive increase in towing capacity gives owners the ability to drive it, haul it and deliver it all, while riding in comfort.  In addition, there’s a five-mode drive selector and idle stop/start system, which are standard. The INFINITI Intelligent All-Wheel Drive is enhanced with a direct coupling engagement that seamlessly transfers up to 50% of its available power nearly instantly to the rear wheels for better traction.

The new 2022 QX60 features a 12.3-inch INFINITI InTouch™ Interactive Display with wireless Apple CarPlay® and USB-based Android Auto™ compatibility software, leather-appointed first- and second-row seats, a panoramic moonroof, power liftgate, and rear parking sensors. For drivers who have an extra love for their music playlists, the QX60 LUXE’s standard 9-speaker audio system can be upgraded to the more than impressive 17-speaker Bose Performance Series sound system.

With seven seats standard, INFINITI has paid careful attention to ensure the driver and passengers in each row ride in the utmost comfort. All QX60’s feature heated, 8-way power-adjustable “zero gravity” front seats with power lumbar adjustment. The driver’s seat features dual occupant memory functionality linked with the outside mirrors. The second-row bench seat features 60/40-split fold and one-touch release for effortless third-row access, even when child safety seats occupy the second row.

The 2022 INFINITI QX60 LUXE edition features 20-inch wheels, slimline roof rails, a 12.3-inch INFINITI Dynamic Meter Display, enhanced ProPILOT ASSIST with Navi-link, navigation, Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, Lane Departure Prevention, Traffic Sign Recognition, remote engine start, and climate-controlled front seats.

    THE NUMBERS:  MSRP/about $56,825  — MPG: City/20 – Hwy/25
