Jamaal Sheats, Nashville artist and director of the Carl Van Vechten Gallery at Fisk University, is the guest this week on Take 10 on Tuesdays with The Tennessee Tribune. Sheats discusses with Tribune Editorial Director Sandra Long Weaver the return of Alfred Stieglitz collection to the gallery through the Fall of 2017. He discusses some of the pieces in the collection donated by Georgia O’Keefe to Fisk University nearly 70 years ago. The collection, which has over 100 pieces, rotates some of the paintings every 90 days.
