NASHVILLE, TN — Ms. Burnece Walker Brunson, the 101-year-old TSU alumna and member of the 1934-1935 Tennessee A&I College cheerleading squad, is ABC News’ “Person of the Week.”
She was featured in World News Tonight’ “Person of the Week” on Friday, October 21.
The TSU faculty, staff and the entire community were encouraged to tune in to see and hear the amazing story of Ms. Brunson, a former school teacher and author of more than 10 books.
She is a member of the TSU Alumni Cheerleading Team, and was co-grand marshal of the 2016 Homecoming.
“Person of the Week” is an ABC World News segment that reports on fascinating people who make a difference in their communities or in the lives of people around them.
