NASHVILLE, TN — Darius Walker is making a name for himself in Nashville. A local businessperson and veteran, this year is giving back to the community that has given his business success and hopes to continue to contribute to the well-being of Nashville.

Walker is the owner and founder of Cali Barber/Cali Beard and Hair Oil business, Cali Barber LLC, and his hair care line Cali Beard and Hair Oil. A Nashville transplant from California, and veteran of Fort Cambell, his role in the company “involves overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest quality of services and products, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment.” Walker’s popularity has led to a full schedule for the rest of the year.

His expansion into haircare with his Beard Braid, and Loc Oil has also proven successful. With clever product branding, oils with names such as “OnGod,” “Butta,” “Georgia Boy” and “Lemon ‘Q’” have been immensely popular. You can obtain these products through his website.

The business has continued to thrive, with Walker noting that his customers have embraced his barbershop and the Cali Collection beard and hair oil products. Through their website, you have the option to Sponsor-a-Haircut, to provide a family that cannot afford haircuts to “experience the joy of a fresh and well-kept hairstyle.”

Taking the role of community leader seriously, Walker notes he takes “great pride in being a dedicated contributor to the welfare of our neighbors, actively giving back and supporting local initiatives.” In the past, this has included a Back-to-School Bash that provided free school supplies to children in the community or providing free haircuts for the homeless of Nashville. Going forward, Walker hopes to start a “Cali for the Community” nonprofit that will host events, fundraisers, and educational workshops.
