Atlanta, Georgia — The HBCU All-Stars LLC brings its first -ever “ATL Has Something to Say HBCU Challenge”featuring the nation’s top HBCU student-athletes and coaches from the SWAC, MEAC, CIAA, SIAC, and Atlanta Public Schools who have demonstrated a high level of talent, hard work, commitment, and winning in Black College Basketball on November 18th and 19th at Morehouse’s Forbes Arena. OnThursday, November 17th, leading into this historic weekend, a Social Justice Town Hall and Panel Discussion entitled the “Power of HBCU Sports” will take place at 5:30 pm at Clark Atlanta University at the Thomas Cole Research Center for Science and Technology. This panel will share insight into the economic, cultural, and political power of sports at HBCU’s.  “This is history in the making and we have partnered with the Davis Bozeman Law Firm for the Power of HBCU Sports in our Social Justice Town Hall & Panel Discussion. Williams, HBCU All-Stars, LLC Founder/CEO and former HBCU Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Tennessee State and Fort Valley State Universities. “It is a great opportunity and platform to tip-off the 2022-23 basketball season and celebrate Black History, Black Excellence, and Black Cultural Experiences. We will continue raising national awareness of our prestigious HBCUs and long legacy of academic and athletic achievement on a global stage in the great city of Atlanta. We are excited about this opportunity to magnify community outreach, initiatives, and love for HBCUs, students, student-athletes, and academic scholarships.”  “We are excited about this opportunity to bring the HBCU All-Stars on Clark Atlanta University’s campus to discuss this important social justice issue. The economic reality of HBCU Sports programs is a social justice issue that is not often discussed.
