Martha O’Bryan Center, with generous financial support from the Kresge Foundation, is proud to introduce the Beyond the Cliff Coalition.
Beyond the Cliff Coalition stands as a pioneering national collaborative, bringing together nonprofits, state and local governments, and other stakeholders dedicated to fostering economic prosperity for families, particularly by tackling the pervasive challenge of the benefits cliff—a significant hurdle for families with low incomes, wherein any increase in earnings leads to an abrupt loss in public assistance, often leaving them in a worse financial state than before.
