Nashville, Tenn. (TN Tribune)-The night of April 2, 2023, was simply magical! After 42 long years, the Nashville Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. was delighted to bring back a tradition of excellence with the 2023 Nashville Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Beautillion Ball and Scholarship Fundraiser sponsored by the Nashville Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and the Nashville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Guide Right Foundation.
The Beautillion is a rite of passage for African-American young men transitioning from one stage of their lives into manhood. The participants, referred to as Beaus, had the opportunity to develop critical leadership skills via workshops in etiquette, career awareness, communication, and character building along with social activities designed for their self-improvement. In addition, they actively volunteered many hours of community service. Their hard work culminated with the grand ball on April 2nd where the following
Beaus were proudly presented to society:
Christopher Levelle Amos, Donovan Lorenzo Banks, Victor Cameron Barnes, Kamden Ellis Blackburn, Brock Miguel Burgess, Austin Terrence Cason, Chance Julian Fitzgerald, Zy Allen Granderson, Elliott Anderson James Roebuck, Edric Jabari Simmons, and Dennis C. “Trey” Woods, III.
Kudos to the Beaus and the lovely Belles who accompanied them! About the Nashville Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated.
