    S3 Asset Management Names Freeman Board Chair

    NASHVILLE, TN — S3 Asset Management, a technology and medical equipment recycling company located in Nashville, has announced that Darrell S. Freeman, Sr. has been elected to chairman of the board of directors.

    Freeman, an entrepreneur in the Nashville business community for more than 25 years, is the founder and executive chairman of Zycron, Inc., co-founder of Tennessee-based Reliant Bank (Commerce Union Bank (NASDAQ)) and the lead director for American Addiction Centers (NYSE). He is also the co-founder and chairman of Pinnacle Construction Partners.

    As an investor and chairman of the board, Freeman will work with CEO Rod McDaniel and the other board members to help set company strategy and direction. “Mr. Freeman’s experience and leadership will be an invaluable resource for the S3 team,” said McDaniel who joined S3 in 2010 and has more than 10 years of experience in IT operations, sales and account management. “We are excited to have him on board, and we know our organization will benefit tremendously from the business acumen that he brings to the table.”

    S3 Asset Management has been in operation since 2007, and serves customers throughout North America. S3 helps its customers recycle equipment/ assets and reduce the cost of ownership. S3’s solutions help businesses, hospitals, and universities increase revenue generated from surplus equipment without having to add additional staff or costs.
