In the height of this year’s presidential race, it seems that things can’t get any crazier. Well it was proven possible as of Wednesday at a press conference with Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump. According to the New York Times, Trump stated that he hopes that Russia hacked Hillary Clinton’s emails.
He also encouraged that Russia publishes whatever may have been stolen. “Russia, if you’re listening,” said Trump, “I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing.”
Like many of the remarks made by Trump, he followed up by changing up what he had stated by before. Today, he claims that he was just being “sarcastic” on a Fox News interview. Needless to say, every word that comes out of the mouth of a presidential candidate will be under fire, especially if it causes uproar.
