The new 2021 Toyota Prius Prime Limited offers a near silent no-gas EV mode (when charged), combined with Toyota’s value and durability and as a result, it’s become one of the world’s best-selling hybrid vehicles.

New for 2021, the Prius Prime upgrades from Toyota Safety Sense-P to Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 for 2021. Essentially, the Prius Prime takes everything people love about the world’s best-selling hybrid vehicle and adds an estimated 25 miles of EV driving range (when fully charged). That’s sufficient enough  to handle daily commuting distances for many U.S. drivers.

Inside, there’s SofTex-trimmed heated front seats with armrests and seatback pockets; 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat with power lumbar support; 4-way adjustable front passenger seat, with Soft-touch upper door trim with chrome accent, and a SofTex-trimmed door armrest area with chrome interior door handles. And there’s an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a HomeLink® universal transceiver. The rear center console has an armrest, storage compartment and two rear cup/bottle holders plus, the car has enough room for five passengers. When in reverse, Prius Prime has a standard integrated backup camera uses a wide-angle lens to display a large viewing area. Clearly marked on the screen show the distance, giving you more confidence to get out of any tricky spots.

A plug-in-hybrid, the Prius Prime has an astounding 640-mile driving range.  Starting with last year’s model year, every Toyota Hybrid Battery Warranty is being increased from 8 years or 100,000 miles to 10 years from date of first use, or 150,000 miles, whichever comes first.  Keep your adventures going by taking advantage of the EV Mode driving range that has up to an EPA-estimated 25 miles. Charge it whenever you can, or don’t. When the charge runs low, Prius Prime will continue to run as an efficient hybrid and still have an EPA-estimated 54 mpg combined. Uniquely designed with intelligent tech, premium materials, thoughtful engineering.

4-cylinder gas engine and electric generators seamlessly work together to provide maximum efficiency. Highway fast speeds can be reached in EV Mode. And when the charge runs low, there’s no range anxiety, because Prius Prime continues to run like a conventional hybrid and still have an impressive EPA-estimated 54 combined mpg.

    THE NUMBERS: MSRP/from $34,000– Range: 25 mi battery-only, 640 mi total
