NASHVILLE, TN — Presiding Judge Angelita Blackshear Dalton was appointed Criminal Court judge in the 20th Judicial District by Governor Bill Haslam on Nov. 20, 2017. She is the first African-American woman to sit on the Criminal Court Division II Court. Judge Dalton was elected to the bench in 2006 and re-elected for a second term in 2014.
