Nashville, TN– Writer/Director Savannah Ostler’s new indie film TWICE THE DREAM will make its Nashville premiere this weekend: August 23 and August 24th at the Regal Hollywood 27 Theater, starting at 7pm.
Principal photography for the feature film TWICE THE DREAM kicked off last summer at the Velour in Provo. But the young film maker has Tennessee roots because Savannah has relatives in small towns near the Music City area. In fact, Savannah is considering shooting a sequel to the film in Nashville. The movie is a family film that was shot and produced in Utah by Savannah and her husband cinematographer Stephen D’Alo, for their S&S Productions. Savannah began writing the screenplay in high school at the age of 14. She has been on a mission to get it made ever since. Over a decade later with the help of many friends and colleagues, “Twice the Dream” is no longer just a dream but it’s become a reality.
“This project has been an ongoing pursuit of mine since writing the original script in high school and after many years of trying to get it made it’s finally happening and will be released in theaters. It truly is a dream come true,” said Savannah.
