NASHVILLE, TN — Recently Dr. Sam Boyd, Pastor Henry Coles and Minister Louie E. Johnston, Jr. have announced the formation of “Pastors for Swain.” The co-chairs and members reflect the broad coalition that Swain is building.

Dr. Sam Boyd is the lead Pastor at Forest Hills Baptist Church. “Pastor Henry Coles, Jr. is the founder & senior pastor of Faith Life Church. Minister Louie E. Johnston, Jr., is the Founder & Director of Layman Lessons, a 501c3 whose mission is to “Feed the Hungry, Clothe the Naked, Shelter the Homeless, and Preach the Gospel.”

Other members of the “Pastors for Swain” organization include: Pastor Dr. Kevin Shrum of Inglewood Baptist, Pastor and Author Don Finto, and Total Life Victory’s Pastor Lyndon Allen.

“I am looking forward to working with the leaders of local faith and community based organizations to better

    serve individuals, families and neighborhoods.

“No longer will the faith-based community be shamed and marginalized.”- Carol M. Swain

Other members of the faith community that have endorsed Carol M. Swain are Dr. James Dobson, founder of Family Talk, Dick and Rich Bott of Bott Radio Network, and author Eric Metaxas.

Dr. Carol M. Swain is running for Mayor of Nashville because she is the only candidate that can bring common sense leadership and transparency to City Hall. Dr. Swain’s “Blueprint for Nashville” lays out the policies that she will advocate for during her term as Mayor. As a political outsider, Dr. Swain is not beholden to special interests and will fight for fairness in government.
