The church continues to follow the initial vision of its founder, St. Katherine Drexel.

He was also appointed as the Catholic priest chaplain of St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee and in October 2012, he was transferred to Baptist Hospital (now St. Thomas Midtown Hospital) and became the first full time Catholic Priest Chaplain, a role he performed until the end of June 2015.

Father Francis appreciates his involvement in the programs of St. Bernard Academy in Nashville and most especially as a Catholic priest chaplain for SBA.
