KNOXVILLE, TN — Kamala Harris is running to be the next President of the United States of America. Stepping into the battle will require she surround herself  with great leadership and  masterminds. In Tennessee Harris has two advantages; a fellow sister in her beloved Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and a proven general in the field: Cynthia Finch.

The priority is getting people educated and to the polls in November. There is no time to train the leadership with the election less than four months away. Leadership in the field has to be ready to lead the charge with the ability to rally thousands to elect Kamela Harris as the next leader of the free world. No problem for a general like Finch, founder and executive director of New Directions Health Care. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Finch not only educated more than 80,000 African Americans on the importance of getting vaccinations, but got them to go get the shot.

Her diligence and perseverance to educate the public on the dangers of opening churches during the beginning of the pandemic led her to work with Vice Mayor Gwen McKenzie, C.O.N.N.E.C.T. Ministries, and I AM The Voice of the Voiceless to educate the public, especially African Americans  and the elderly on the unknown dangers of the pandemic. Finch began holding weekly zoom calls  in May of 2020 to educate and empower faith leaders on the latest information on the pandemic and resources they could share with their congregations. She brought in subject matter experts from all over the country, from the CDC to the White House to educate the public. Over the years, there have been as many as 180 leaders on the calls at one time. The zoom calls last one hour and are held every Thursday at 5 p.m. EDT.

    State Rep. Karen Camper

Never one to lead from afar, during the pandemic years, Finch took to the battlefields, gathering nurses and getting free vaccine from doctors and hospitals; setting up clinics in churches, parking lots, and creating drive thru clinics. Her efforts brought her international acclaim as she was interviewed by the BBC, chosen USA Today’s Woman of the Year, and has received proclamations and accolades from the state, city and county leadership. Her expertise in educating and empowering the masses is now part of the toolkit Finch is using  to get her sorority sister, Kamela Harris elected as  president of the United States. She understands the assignment and is already on the job, holding zoom calls and reaching out to the masses. Her most recent call in partnership with Memphis Representative Karen Camper last week drew more than 619 to a strategy call and she was on the national call that drew more than 44,000 in support of Harris as the nominee of choice.

In Tennessee, mastermind Cynthia Finch is already in the battlefield, leading the charge.
