Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would be stricken 53 years ago on April 4th, 1968
Nashville, TN (TN Tribune)–On April 4, 2021, the Tennessee Poor People’s Campaign will hold a day of “Remembrance and Reflection” dedicated to the life and work of Dr. King and will host Bell Tolling Ceremonies which will occur across the State of Tennessee.
Communities are being asked to toll your church or campus bell 39 times to honor the number of years Dr. King dwelled on this earth, to pay homage to his legacy, and to rededicate ourselves to the struggle for justice.
