NASHVILLE, TN — It wasn’t exactly a critical success, but the initial film “Good Burger” proved a commercial hit. It did so well that there will now be a sequel. The trailer for the second installment of “Good Burger” is now showing online. the sequel will once again chronicle the exploits and misadventures of original cashier Ed (Kel Mitchell) and Dexter Reed (Kenan Thompson). The duo reunite in the present day at the fast-food restaurant Good Burger with a new group of hilarious employees. In a fall that thus far doesn’t have too many things debuting due to ongoing writer and actor strikes. this new film premieres this fall on exclusively on Paramount+. Others in the cast include Lil Rel Howery, Jillian Bell, Kamaia Fairburn, Alex R. Hibbert, Fabrizio Guido, Elizabeth Hinkler, Emily Hinkler and Anabel Graetz.

There will also be appearances from some of the original cast who return to reprise their roles, including Josh Server as Fizz, Lori Beth Denberg as Connie Muldoon, and Carmen Electra as Roxanne. The sequel comedy will also feature some surprise celebrity cameos. Perhaps the biggest criticism of the original film was that it wasn’t so much a created production as an adaptation of an undeniably popular sketch featured on Nickelodeon’s “All That.” The sketches depicted events at the fast-food joint Good Burger and the problems often encountered by its inept cashier, Ed, who was portrayed by Kel Mitchell in seasons 1–5. In July 1997, Paramount Pictures released “Good Burger” as a full-length motion picture. “Good Burger” is produced by Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell.  Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert wrote the script and serve as executive producers.  For Artists for Artists, John Ryan Jr also serves as an executive producer. Phil Traill is the director with James III also contributing to writing the film. Shauna Phelan and Zack Olin, Co-Heads of Nickelodeon & Awesomeness Live-Action, are in charge of managing the film’s production on behalf of Nickelodeon Studios. Brittany Cope is the Executive in Charge of Production at Nickelodeon.
