NASHVILLE, TN — Tennessee Tribune Founder and Publisher Rosetta Miller-Perry is adding another distinguished honor to her impresive list of awards.
On Aug. 5 she will receive the Legacy Award at the Airport Minority Advisory Council’s (AAMC) 4th annual Political Action Committee breakfast.
The event, titled Securing Our Future – We Unite For Impact,” will be held at the Grand Hyatt, 1000 Broadway, starting at 7:45 a.m.
The guest speaker will be Congressman Steven Horsford, chair, Congressional Black Caucus.
Miller-Perry’s award will be presented by Rep. Rev. Harold M. Love Jr., Tennessee House, 58th District and Sandra Long, AMAC chair.
Love is also president-elect, National Black Caucus of State Legislators.
“Mrs. Miller-Perry is being honored for her community service, her civil rights work, and as the owner of the Tennessee Tribune stores at the airport,” Long explained.
