There’s a lot to be excited about with the new 2022 BMW 230i Coupe. To begin with, the look is totally striking, with a touch of extroverted styling, more powerful engines, improved chassis and dynamics, greater interior room and the latest in infotainment and connectivity are just some of the improvements that are waiting for new owners.

This new BMW 230i Coupe is a modern, dynamic interpretation of sports car style, inside and out. Drivers can take your pick of new, engaging wheel designs that are available in sizes up to 19” for extra style on every mile.

The new performance-oriented BMW kidney grille features vertically arranged air flaps instead of the classic bars. These operate electrically and can open in ten stages to provide increased cooling air when required by the engine. The BMW kidney grille is surrounded by a single-piece frame in a chrome finish  in cerium grey.

There’s plenty of styling components via the M Sport Package—this includes the aggressively-styled front bumper with larger side air intakes, M high-gloss Shadowline exterior trim and side skirts plus high-gloss black window trim and the lower section of the rear bumper with integral diffuser in Dark Shadow metallic.

Inside, look for seats that are both stylish and supportive. Power front sport seats including driver’s seat memory, with a 40/20/40 split fold-down through-load rear seats. Standard Sport Seats provide the perfect balance of performance and comfort especially with standard Perforated SensaTec upholstery in your choice of colors. And don’t forget to enjoy an open-sky feeling with the moonroof, adding a sense of openness and spaciousness to the cabin.

When it comes to performance and efficiency, there’s a 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 4-cylinder, 16-valve 255hp engine. Combines a twin-scroll turbocharger with variable valve control (Double-VANOS and Valvetronic) and high-precision direct injection…Auto Start-Stop function…8-speed Sport Automatic transmission with Sport and Manual shift modes, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters and Launch Control. When it comes to driving controls there’s a variety of selections: Driving Dynamics Control with ECO PRO, COMFORT, SPORT and SPORT+ modes.

This model is packed with plenty of interior comfort and conveniences. The BMW Navigation Business system with iDrive Controller, has an 8.8” high-resolution screen and programmable memory buttons. Live Cockpit Plus features an Instrument cluster and 8.5” central information display. The multi-input iDrive 7.0 Operating System is operated by voice or iDrive Controller. Navigation, Bluetooth, two USB ports, and multiple Over-the-Air (OTA) updates for map data are also included. Advanced Vehicle & Key Memory includes most recently used climate-control temperature and air-distribution settings; exterior mirror and power seat settings; audio tone settings and radio presets; central-locking preferences; and lighting preferences.

    THE NUMBERS: MSRP/about $46,570 – MPG:  26/City – 35/Hwy
