In collaboration with the Metro Nashville Parks and Recreation Department, the Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT) has renewed its Christmas Tree Recycling Program for the 2024-2025 holiday season. To keep Christmas trees out of the trash and landfills, NDOT will partner with Living Earth to chip and compost donated trees into mulch. NDOT anticipates thousands of Nashvillians throughout Davidson Country to donate trees and has secured the following 13 drop-off locations from December 26, 2024, through February 14, 2025.
