NASHVILLE, TN — Faith Family Medical Center (FFMC) held a ribbon cutting ceremony for their new building recently. While the new building has been open to their working uninsured patients since last July, FFMC is eager for the opportunity to celebrate this milestone with its long-time supporters who were instrumental in making the dream of a new facility come true. Joseph Williams, director of external affairs, is scheduled to speak on behalf of Governor Bill Lee.
Phil Ellenburg, FFMC’s new president and CEO, said, “This building would not be possible without the countless hours of hard work by so many of our staff, board, volunteers, and supporters. Recently a patient commented, ‘Your building now matches the level of excellent service you’ve always given’ and we are grateful for that every day.”
The new building includes additional exam rooms, expanded space for behavioral health, an on-site pharmacy, a Wellness Center including a full kitchen and exercise equipment, and a Teaching Garden. Faith Family has been providing compassionate, comprehensive healthcare to the working uninsured since 2001 and is excited for the opportunities the new facility provides as they enter their third decade in Nashville.
Faith Family Medical Center is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that has provided high-quality medical care to the working uninsured and underinsured residents of Greater Nashville for twenty years. Offering health care services to meet patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs on a sliding scale patients can afford, Faith Family MedicalCenter takes care of the people who take care of Nashville.
