SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19 AT SHELBY PARK
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Join Nashville CARES in the fight against HIV/AIDS at the 33rd Annual Nashville AIDS Walk & 5K Run presented by NPS Pharmacy on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Shelby Park. As Tennessee’s longest-running HIV fundraiser and one of Nashville’s highest-profile events, the Nashville AIDS Walk & 5K Run raises vital funds and highlights the city’s commitment to ending the HIV epidemic. With a goal to raise $200,000, participants will gather to walk or run and help make a lasting impact in Middle Tennessee.
“We are thrilled to bring the community together once again for the 33rd Annual Nashville AIDS Walk & 5K Run. At Nashville CARES, we are deeply committed to collaborating with diverse partners to address health disparities. HIV continues to have a significant impact on our community, and events like the AIDS Walk allow us to provide essential services to those most vulnerable. By focusing on awareness, education, prevention, and early access to care, we strive to achieve health equity for all Tennesseans,” said Amna Osman, CEO of Nashville CARES.
This event, sponsored by The Nashville Scene, 92Q, and The Nashvillian, is family-focused and free to walk and $35 for the 5K Run. Walk and run participants need to register for entrance.
