NASHVILLE, TN — Members of the Metro Nashville City Council recently acknowledged What’s the 411? with Sharon Kay with a Resolution recognizing the 20th anniversary of the talk show. It is one of Nashville’s longest, continuous running talk programs. It has remained a sponsored broadcast for the entire time.
Kay is General Manager of WFSK JAZZY 88 radio and a long-time media personality.
She created the empowerment/encouragement concept, secured financial sponsorship, hosted, engineered, scheduled guests, and is executive producer of the show while being a News Anchor/Reporter at WQQK, 92Q in 2001.
Councilman members Sharon Hurt, Burkley Allen and Freddie O’Connell read the Resolution and made the presentation inside the Council Chamber.
Among the thousands of guests over the years have been nationally recognized luminaries and historic figures such as the late Congressman John Lewis.
