The new 2022 Kia Niro EV EX Premium really brings it, when it comes to performance, rugged capability, and innovative technology. The Niro’s crossover design brings practicality to the forefront in so many areas.  It comfortably seats up to five adults with enough room behind the second row for other essentials.

Niro does a whole lot more than take you away from high gas prices. With an EV drivetrain, the Niro EV has a combined system output of 201 horsepower and 291 pound-feet of torque electric drive motor. Behind the wheel, punch it up a notch with the push of a button to engage sport mode. A high-density, lithium-ion polymer 64 kWh battery packs enough power for a 293-mile AMCI Testing Certified range and fits unobtrusively under the vehicle’s floor to retain a roomy cabin. There’s DC fast charging capabilities. The 2022 Niro EV proudly arrives wearing new Kia badging on the front grille, the tailgate, steering wheel hub and wheel center caps.  Niro EV continues to deliver an EPA-estimated 239 miles of range on a single charge and remains eligible for the $7,500 Federal tax credit along with any applicable state and local incentives, depending on location of purchase.

Drivers can configure their Niro to their own preferences.  Get comfortable in the available 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support. Switch on the color-changing mood lighting to illuminate your drive. And use the 10.25” configurable touch screen to select which song rings out through the available Harman Kardon® Premium Surround Sound audio system. Plus, there’s cloth and SynTex seating materials with heated front seats. The 60/40 split-folding rear seats allow you to quickly configure the cabin to your needs. And with the rear seats folded down, you’ll have access to up to 54.5 cu. ft. of cargo space. For the new model year, the 10.25-inch touchscreen becomes standard. Navigation, UVO link and Sirius XM satellite radio, along with the premium Harmon/Kardon sound system, are bundled into the touchscreen. The many generous amenities include:  rear spoiler, heated outside mirrors; roof rails; power sunroof with sunshade; 17” alloy wheels; dark fender and rocker rail cladding and an aerodynamic front grille with charging port.
