    Virtual Voter Education Session Sept. 30

    Nashville, TN — As the 2024 election approaches, the Alpha Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., in partnership with community organizations, is proud to announce a Virtual Voter Education Session aimed at providing crucial information to voters. This informative and interactive session will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM via Zoom.

    The voter education session is designed to empower citizens by providing the tools and knowledge necessary to ensure a smooth voting experience. Topics include:

    • Absentee Ballots: Learn how to request, complete, and submit your absentee ballot.
    • Voter Registration: Step-by-step guidance for registering to vote, both online and on paper.
    • Check Your Voter Status: Ensure your voter registration is current and accurate.
    • Voter Protection Hotline: Get information on how to address any voting issues.
    • Poll Worker Sign-Up: Find out how you can serve your community by becoming a poll worker.

    “Voting is a powerful tool for change, and we want to make sure that every member of our community has the information they need to fully participate in the democratic process,” said Jenean Davis, President of the Alpha Delta Omega Chapter. “This non-partisan session will be an excellent opportunity for voters to prepare themselves for the upcoming election.”

    The event is free and open to the public, and registration is required to receive the Zoom link.

Alpha Delta Omega Chapter has served the Nashville, TN area since 1927.
