    Fisk Graduate Kelly C. Malone, Founder of KTM Home Health Services, Passes Away

    Nashville, TN (TN Tribune)–Formerly of Nashville – Kelly Channel Collier Malone was born on the 2nd day of October 1973, in Nashville, Tennessee, to William Alexander Collier and Ingrid Charmaine Frazier Collier. She departed this life on the 15th day of January 2021, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. 

    Kelly attended St. Bernard Catholic School and graduated from Whites Creek Comprehensive High School. Immediately after high school, Kelly attended Fisk University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English. After earning her B.A., Kelly passionately pursued and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) graduate degree in Clinical Psychology from Tennessee State University. 

    Kelly met the love of her life, Michael Malone, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Nashville, TN. Together they shared the blessing of 21 years of a love filled marriage, five amazing sons and a home filled with ingenuity, partnership and warmth. 

    Kelly Collier Malone was the founder of KTM Home Health Services, a home health organization aimed at assisting patients with home needs during every stage of life. A tireless autism advocate, Kelly assisted her son, Thomas Michael Malone, in launching a support group for teens who have siblings with disabilities, Chattahoochee Valley Sibling Support Group. A compassionate leader who sought to be of service to others, Kelly was initiated into the Alpha Beta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Incorporated (1995). Kelly was an active member of the Columbus, Georgia Chapter of Links, Incorporated, Columbus, Georgia Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, and a member of the Archousai of Gamma Psi Boule’. In addition, Kelly served as a member of the Auxiliary to the Columbus/Fort Benning Medical Society and as a member of the Auxiliary to the National Medical Association. 

    Kelly is survived by her husband, Thomas Michael Malone, Md.; five children, Thomas Michael II, William, Sean, Chase, and Dylan. Her sustaining rock, her mother Ingrid Frazier Collier and her dedicated father, William Collier (Florence); three sisters, Kimberly Collier Frye (Darrell) of Nashville, TN, Kristy Collier Strickland of Alpharetta, GA, and Kinsey Alexandria Collier of Nashville, TN, as well as five nieces, seven nephews, and a host of cousins and other relatives. Kelly leaves twenty plus years of memories for her parents-in-law, Dr. Thomas N. Malone and Carolia V. Malone and grandmother-in-law, Letitia F. Mero. Kelly will be remembered by her two sister-in-laws, Karen Bennett (Euriah), Letitia Houston (Bryant), and her brother-in-law Robert Malone. Kelly was deeply loved by her aunts, Reverend Dr. Karen Collier, Debbie Collier Hirsch, Esquire (Renard), her paternal uncle Reverend Cody Collier (Sharon), and her devoted cousin Che’ Middlebrooks (Jonah). Kelly will be deeply missed by her special friends, Dr. Karen Price, Carl Burse, Tonya McKennley, Robert Williams, Jenean Davis, Emmaly Carr Rohrer , Artis Flowers, Keesa Perkins, Iris Rivers, Franchetta Greer, Minister Kathy Jones, Dr. Stacy Hall, and Gia Hall-Miller. 

    Kelly was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Ralph Frazier and Frankie Frazier and her paternal grandparents William Collier and Grace Collier. Her maternal aunt, Yvonne Middlebrook (Andrew) and maternal uncle Delton Frazier and her paternal aunt Kathleen Collier McCord. 

    Family visitation St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 1700 Heiman Street, Nashville, TN 37208 on Saturday, January 30, 2021, 9:00 am – 10:00 am. Memorial mass to follow. Service will be streamed via Facebook Live (Lewis-Wright FD).
