Nashville, Tenn. (TN Tribune)-North Precinct Officer Cody Oliphant has been decommissioned as a result of his arrest for domestic assault Wednesday night. Oliphant’s wife reported that he put his hands around her throat during a verbal argument outside their home.
Oliphant, 29, a 1-year MNPD officer, is charged with aggravated assault.
The MNPD’s Office of Professional Accountability has opened an administrative investigation into Oliphant’s arrest.
