The new 2017 Mazda X-5 Grand Touring RF is truly designed to awaken the senses. It’s one beautiful car to look at and even more of a memorable experience to drive. Starting with the Miata’s new signature Machine Gray Metallic exterior, which is a real standout color in gray hues for autos. But the real star feature of this roadster is the power-folding fastback roof that operates seamlessly in about 13 seconds.  The top takes a respectable 13 seconds to stow or return back to its coupe-like form. For the driver who has extra height, don’t worry because the RF has 36.8 inches of headroom with about 4.5 cubic feet of trunk space.

The Miata’s i-ACTIVSENSE offers state of the art safety innovations. It advanced technologies like milli-wave radars and cameras to give drivers an extra sense of safety that halo alert drivers before a hazard even happens.

There’s more than one road to driving thrills. The MX-5 RF takes the lightweight, rear-wheel drive route. And when a driver is behind the wheel, there’s near-perfect 50/50 weight balance. The RF is also highly rigid yet lightweight. This is all thanks to its SKYACTIV®-Chassis that plays a key role in the MX-5 RF’s nimbleness and stability. Together, the RF’s balance and rigid chassis create an incredibly responsive drive. Other standout features on the RF include MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment system4, BOSE® Audio System with 9 Speakers, including headrest speakers, 4.6-incPower retractable fastback roof in body color with black accents, h full-color LCD display for trip computer and roof status information, Leather-wrapped steering wheel, Leather-wrapped shift knob, Dual front air bags and side-impact air bags5 and Piano black seat back bar trim.

    THE NUMBERS:  MSRP–$32,620  – Est. MPG  26/city 33-Hwy
