Nashville, TN – Cashville Etc. is proud to present its first exhibition Faces of North Nashville exhibit at 100 Taylor Arts Collective. This exhibition explores the sacred rich history of North Nashville faces and places. Cashville Etc. has partnered with Fisk University special collection to incorporate archival photos dating back to 1904, and even incorporate images that reimagine a past photo project from 1981 to now. The exhibit runs November 19-December 30, 2022 at 100 Taylor Street, Nashville, Tenn. 37208. Nashville, Tenn. (TN Tribune)-The CMA CGM Group, a global player in sea, land, air and logistics solutions donated 1,000 all-natural, antibiotic-free 14- to 16-lb. turkeys and sustainable, reusable shopping bags to Nashville families in coordination with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. Nashville, TN — Today, Mayor John Cooper announced that every Metro Nashville Public High School (MNPS) athletic program will receive a new sports field, an initiative made possible through an innovative partnership with the Tennessee Titans and The Foundation for Athletics in Nashville Schools, Inc. (The Fans Inc), a non-profit organization dedicated to endow athletic programming at MNPS schools. CLARKSVILLE, TN — Dawne Moore, a retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant and current Nashville State Community College student success veteran advisor at the Clarksville campus, has been awarded a Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) Chancellor’s Commendation for Military Veterans. Moore was honored during a Nashville State’s Veterans Day celebration at the Clarksville campus. Nashville State’s White Bridge campus also held a celebration honoring veterans. NASHVILLE, TN — Advance Financial was honored with various awards this year, including being named one of America’s Best Midsize Employers by Forbes in 2022 for the second consecutive year. The award is based on a study done by Forbes in collaboration with the research company Statista. Statista surveyed 50,000 Americans working for mid-sized businesses. NASHVILLE, TN — Local McDonald’s owner-operators of the McDonald’s Greater Tennessee Valley Operators Association Business Unit donated $9,581 to Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS). This donation was the result of the Fries for School Supplies fundraiser. All proceeds from a la carte fry sales during one week at local McDonald’s restaurants were donated to local schools, including MNPS. This year’s Fries for School Supplies fundraiser raised more than $85K for local schools across Huntsville, Bowling Green, Middle Tennessee, and Chattanooga. The funds will benefit local schools, and teachers will purchase necessary classroom supplies.
